Well... it's been 5 weeks since we got back from Australia and real life hit us pretty hard this fall. Jake is getting used to his new responsibilities as Geology Department Chair, I'm getting used to substitute teaching in high schools as I make progress towards being a full-time teacher one day, and Katie is getting used to full-time daycare. I should say all three of us are getting used to the new routines of Katie being in daycare, including a more defined schedule, irregular naps, the occasional bite from a daycare "friend", and colds, so many colds! :)
So... a midst all this business, it's nice to have Thanksgiving weekend come along, so I could take one precious afternoon Nap Time to look back at the second half of our fantastic trip and finish up that darned blog I promised. Here goes... Picking up at 1536 km north of Brisbane, here are some more pictures from the vicinity of the beautiful Cardwell area.

| At Edmund Kennedy park... Katie is SO cold in this picture because she "accidentally" spilled her water all over herself and then it was windy. D'oh! |
